A Next.js web application for federal contracting teams to search SAM.gov-style opportunities, manage watchlists, AI-assisted chat and deep-dive analysis.

GovBidAI (production app: Oppyhound) is a federal contracting platform built on Next.js 15 with the Pages Router and TypeScript. It combines opportunity discovery and lookup (backed by Elasticsearch on the SAM-style index), user accounts and company profiles stored in DynamoDB via Amplify AppSync GraphQL, and client-side caching with Dexie in IndexedDB. Authentication uses Cognito and social OAuth, with JWTs in HTTP-only cookies and centralized route protection via server-side helpers. The UI is built with Material UI and MUI X Pro; global state uses Redux Toolkit and custom middleware for chat and membership sync. Stripe powers subscriptions and purchases; HubSpot and UserFlow support marketing and onboarding. Jest and React Testing Library cover unit and component tests, with E2E automation in a separate repository. The stack is deployed on AWS Amplify Hosting with environment-specific configuration and documented auth, Stripe webhook, and Amplify workflows.
